Self taught artist David Senn, is passionate about nature the environment and the wll being of the planet, he is known for his realistic and colourful acrylic and pastel paintings. Working with pure pigment, his pieces are vibrant yet intimate views of West Wales and beyond. His work includes dramatic landscapes and seascapes, where he  consistently pushes the limits of various mediums, exploring new techniques in each work.
He prefers to work in acrylic and pastel; the former because of its fast drying time, allowing him to work in multiple successive layers without muddying the colours, and the latter for its extraordinarily expressive, and luminescent qualities.
He is never happier than being outdoors in all weathers and is a keen climber, walker and cyclist. He lives on a smallholding nestled at the bottom of the Preseli Mountains in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, surrounded by magnificent wild landscapes and a rugged coast.David transports us to places of natural power and beauty, examining our reactions to motion, light, and colour, he seeks to create an emotional response from us, the viewer, whether it be a sense of peace and calm or excitement and energy.
